My name is David Nunes and I am an art major. I grew up on a dairy in Farmington, Ca. Most people don't know where Farmington is, so I'll tell you. It about a half an hour north of Modesto. If you take McHenry Avenue north you'll run right into it. I've wanted to do animation since the third grade. I heard that UCLA had an animation program and so I wanted to go there. I still love cartoons. As much as I enjoy computer animation there will always be a place in my heart for hand drawn animation.
Presently I am in my last semester here at Stanislaus.I'm taking 22units this semester and work forty hours a week. I live in Modesto and work on a duck farm in Oakdale. I have a band, also by the name nideit. The name comes from my mother. When I would joke with her she would call me an idiot. But with her strong portuguese accent it souded like nid-e-it. Also, I'm engaged to be married in January.
So after I graduate and get married I hope to move to Seattle shortly there after. I hope to become a High School art teacher and play more music.
Out of curiosity, what...goes on at a duck farm?
ReplyDeleteOh no, it's like a turkey farm, isn't it? The ducks are being raised to be...well you know.
Aw, I think I just made myself sad.

ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your Engagement! =D
ReplyDeleteAnd I know where Farmington is! Amazingly so, I have passed through there when I was little. I have to say, working on a duck farm sounds like a pretty interesting occupation.
You sound quite busy! 22 units and 40 hours a week? Plus a band and you're getting married! How exciting!
